Desire dedicated itself in the Myanmar’s one of the fast moving industries i.e. Automotive maintenance industries, which is trying to keep abreast with neighboring countries. Desire was founded at the end of 2011 by U Thiha Aung and co-founded by Daw Ou Thinzar Kyaw with the name of Desire Autoworks initially. Since Desire kept itself as professional career in the industry, primarily specializes in maintenance and decoration services at the beginning. Automotive services which Desire Autoworks renders cover following sectors from minor to major repairs which is widely accepted as one of the leading brand in Myanmar.

Desire has now managed on running eleven branches successfully in Myanmar. Desire stands as the first-ever organization in its industry as a franchise operator and garage management operator in the country. Desire always keeps its services at a very high level on systematic operation management and motivated services for customers, where most of the customers acknowledge.

OUR HISTORY

The newly-organized branch has been established in Yangon at the end of 2011 and was officially opened as a full bloom branch on 22nd Feb 2012 which is located on Waizayantar Road, South Okkalapa Township, Yangon. The second branch which itself is franchised and operation management model operates all automotive services mentioned earlier, as well as extended hands into car detailing and tire services, which was not included in the first branch. Later on, this branch was moved to Japan Road, Insein Township, Yangon

In Oct 2015, due to the demand of customers, the third branch has to be opened at Thanlyin Township which is next door to the newly born famous Thilawa Industrial zone targeted as the first special economic zone of Myanmar.

The fourth franchised branch was opened at Monywa which has been the fastest economic growing capital of Sagaing State in Upper Myanmar. This branch started operating in March 2017 as the initial expansion plan 2017.

In June 2017, the fifth franchised branch was opened in Pathein, the largest city and the capital of the Ayeyarwady Region, Myanmar.

The sixth franchise branch was opened again in September 2018, in Twantay Township in Yangon Division.  

Then, the seventh franchise branch was opened in Kalay Township in Sagaing Division in February 2019, intending to give reliable services to the customers in Upper Myanmar.

The eighth franchise branch which is in Dawei Township in Tanintharyi Division was opened in April 2019, to give pleasurable services to the customers in southern Myanmar.

The ninth franchised branch was opened again at Kalein Aung Township in Tanintharyi Division in September 2019.

The tenth franchised branch was opened at Thayet Chaung Township in Tanintharyi Division in November 2019.

The eleventh franchised branch was opened at Bawga Thiri in Nay Pyi Taw Union Division in November 2019. 

The Thanlyin branch was moved to Myeik in Tanintharyi Division in November 2019.

The Thirteenth franchised branch was opened at Taunggyi in Shan State in March 2020.

The Fourteenth franchised branch was opened at Kawthaung in Tanintharyi Division in July 2020.

The Fifteenth franchised branch was opened at Tachileik in Shan State in February 2023.

The Sixteenth franchised branch was opened at Bago in Bago Division in April 2023.

Desire Autoworks started humbly with 10 employees and has now grown into 200 head-counts in 2022. Although there are many employees (technicians) operating in different locations apart, each and every garage could maintain high quality and high customer satisfaction due to its solid management system.
